Maine Pet & Event Photographer: Bark for Life Portland
May 4: Bark for Life, Portland, Maine
While this event was canceled within hours of starting, the second annual Bark for Life of Greater Portland managed to bring some money for cancer research. If you had been there among the high winds, thumbnail-sized pieces of hail, and pelting rain, you’d have known that Mainer’s are tough but not foolish.
Hours after shutting down the event, there was a torrential downpour, at about the time humans and canines would have been walking around the park. Regardless, BFF Photography was on hand to help capture some images of what was going on before Mother Nature decided to weigh in. We think she hates cancer too. View the social gallery here.

Debra arranged for our photos to be taken in spots that kept him safe, even making a last-minute change to our[...]

I had a wonderful experience working with Deb from Bell's Furry Friend Photography! She and her assistant were so patient with my puppy. Even with his stubbornness, they managed to get beautiful shots of my dog! I would highly recommend Deb to anyone looking to get some gorgeous photos of their furry friends!
Capturing a precious moment with your furry child in a quick snapshot is a joy in itself. However, does it capture the perpetual symbiotic relationship between you and your pet when you view the picture? The quick pictures I’ve taken or asked others to take have not. Debra Bell alleviates that concern. Debra’s presence in spirit and creativity is all for you as the FCP[...]
